I always do a “clean” edit in color of all my clients’ best images, then choose a few that I think would work well with another effect. But with this shoot, I was struck with just how beautiful all their images were in black and white. So I decided to do their entire “sneak peek” here in these gorgeous tones.
I was so excited to be able to do their entire shoot within the master bedroom. This type of “lifestyle” photography is something I am becoming so passionate about. Backdrops and excessive props can seem unnatural. And especially at this precious time when your baby is so new, I think it’s the “real” moments within your own walls that you’ll treasure most. It’s true that I still do some soft, natural posing, but I try to keep things loose, relaxing, and even fun.
